Fall Nail Polish – Festive Chanel Peridot

Peridot by Chanel is by far the most unique color in their fall nail polish collection. It is a very fresh green with iridescent blue and gold tones depending on the angle. The other two colors in their fall collection are Graphite, and Quartz (I’ve added pictures of them at the bottom of this post). I wanted to integrate the trendy accent nail look with the amazing Chanel polish, so I paired it with the Deborah Lippmann polish in Happy Birthday. I love glitter, so the chunky multi-colored glitter that makes up the Happy Birthday polish is just perfection.

I painted two coats of Peridot on all of my nails, then painted two coats of Happy Birthday on the pointer finger on one hand and the ring finger on the other hand, and finished it off with one coat of Seche Vite Top Coat (aka best top coat I’ve ever used…ever).

    hello!

i saw a butter nail polish that’s really similar to the peridot one that you have on. i can’t decide if i like it. like i think it looks good, but it’s such a dramatic color. so many facets. lol i’m fickle.

and what is your opinion on butter? worth the $14? lol
i want a sparkly gold polish. i’ve been looking at the full monty, west end wonderland and the old bill by butter….
or which colors would you go for? suggestions are welcomed! :P

Lol LOVE NAIL POLISH YESSSSSS. In terms of butter nail polish, I think they’re alright, not anything special. I only have a few of them, and all of them seem to chip much faster than essie, deborah lippman, chanel, or OPI. As for gold nail polish I really want to get the Deborah Lippman one called Boom Boom Pow. It’s sooooo gold and glittery! I think it really depends on the shade of gold that you want. If you want a true gold color you should go with OPI Bling Dynasty. You could also try Orly in Luxe. I personally think rose gold would look really awesome with your skin tone :) Like Orly in Rage or Zoya in Austine.
